Merry Pebbles Resort is situated on the banks of the Sabie River within the municipal boundary of the mountain village Sabie. Sabie is situated 1050m above sea level on the Mpumalanga Escarpment within the Panorama route and is malaria and bilharzia free.

Sabie is in a summer rainfall area with an average of 1000mm of rainfall annually. Summer temperatures range from an average minimum of 18ºC to a maximum average of 31ºC whilst the winter average low temperatures are 3ºC and average high’s of 23ºC
